Designing and building AI companion products for nonprofits working in health, parenting, support, and care.
Context
Nonprofits often hold deep expertise, trusted content, and strong community relationships, but their digital tools rarely match the nuance of the support they provide. These projects explore how AI can help extend that support without losing trust, safety, or human context.
What I did
I work across the full product stack: shaping the user experience, designing onboarding flows, building chat interfaces, structuring knowledge retrieval, integrating memory, and thinking through analytics, consent, privacy, and App Store release requirements. Work includes products such as Ellis, built with Livestrong, Bonded by Baby, and other AI companion experiences that cannot currently be disclosed.
Where it landed
These products turn static support content into more personal, conversational experiences. The goal is not to replace expert guidance, but to make trusted information easier to access, understand, and return to at the moments people need it.
Some projects are public, while others remain confidential due to partner, health, or product-stage constraints.
